Brief: To make the brand synonymous with bearded men and grooming

About the Brand: 

Beardo for Men is a well known men’s grooming brand. Today it is easily thought of in the same breath as Brylcreem, Cinthol and The Man Company; thanks to its association with the FMCG giant Marico. When Beardo approached us for a social media driven strategy, they were still a startup and had just launched three products on Amazon. We took up the challenge of building their brand communications with strong imagery and risque content appealing to real men around India. Within a year we had established a visual consistency and tone of voice that is still used to this day. It is the 3 years of grassroots marketing that we undertook for the brand that brought it national acclaim and we’d like to think the attention of Marico.

Work Done:

We were responsible for creating the Beardo website, managing the website orders and backend, handle the entire social media communications as well as manage the media spends of the brand on social media, not to mention brand collaterals like hoardings, brochures as well as mailers were also managed by us.
